This year's Fall Tour falls on the last weekend of American Craft Week.
American Craft Week is a celebration of not only the aesthetic,
but the economic value of hand made American crafts.
The American public is invited to recognize the wealth, and benefits hand made American crafts has,
not only on our everyday lives but also on the economy. The EAST Tour is the perfect way to
participate and savor the arts and crafts of this regions diverse artists in their studios.
Artists of the
Black Mountain, Swannanoa, and East Asheville
area, present the East of Asheville Studio Tour.
The studio tour takes place twice a year - Spring and Fall.
Everyone is welcome to visit any or all of the studios during the tour,
whether they are serious art patrons or just browsers of beautiful and interesting works.
This website contains information about the tour, the locations of the studios - including a map of the tour, and information about the artists and their work.
Patrons and visitors will be able to meet and talk to the artists, and get a first hand look at their work, and the studios where they create it.
